WelcomeNorth Gloucestershire Orienteering Club holds 20-30 events each year in the pleasant areas that extend from the Cotswolds to the Forest of Dean. Event locations range from woods to rugged open countryside and urban parks. We have over 100 members, and although the club is based in Gloucestershire, we also attract members from the fringes of neighbouring counties.Orienteering is an exciting adventure sport that tests navigational skill and fitness in order to complete a course in the fastest possible time. But Orienteering is also a recreation suitable for all members of the family from age 2 to 92. It gives healthy exercise at whatever pace is comfortable to you. For more information, see our introduction new to orienteering Everyone is welcome to try the sport at one of our events, and help will be available for newcomers.
