\n\t2019 League 10 Painswick Training \n<\/h4>\n

\n\tPainswick in 2019 was a Middle Distance race, so these courses are short and sharp, with plenty of controls to test your fine navigation at speed, and your ability to orientate yourself quickly out of controls to get going in the right direction for the next one. For this series we have added the Orange course in place of Brown, to cater for less experienced runners. The courses can be downloaded from the UK\/Gloucestershire\/Training<\/strong> folder.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tParking<\/strong> is in a small layby off the lane that runs past the cemetery and the entrance to the golf club. The nearest useful postcode is GL6 6TJ, which should get you to the road along the Southern edge of the cemetery. Look for signs to Painswick Golf Club off the A46 about half a mile North of the town centre.\n

\n\t\tThe Start<\/strong> is a few meters into the woods from the parking layby. Take a gate on your left as you turn into the wood, and the start is just after the first bend in the path. It would be sensible to tap Go to Start when by the car, and in the slightly more open area by the lane, to let your phone GPS find itself before going to the start. The Finish<\/strong> is by the side of the lane midway between where you have parked and the cemetery.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
