It's an intricate quarry area featuring a small-scale 1:2000 map (based on LiDAR), with 2 metre contours.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li>There are <strong>3 linear courses<\/strong> to choose from, each about 1.3km in length<\/li>\n\t\t<li>Note that NO paths are shown in the detailed quarry area, so a good chance to practice contour interpretation!<\/li>\n\t\t<li>Note that the quarry is occasionally used by motor cycle trail bikes: you shouldn't run the courses if these are around.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\tThe courses can be downloaded from the <strong>UK\/Gloucestershire\/Training<\/strong> folder.  \n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Getting there<\/strong>: Take the road towards the aerials on Cleeve Common and there's parking for 2-3 cars at the bottom of the dip, on the left by the Public Footpath sign.  This is at the end of the lane leading to the start.
