Our MapRun Christmas Challenge returns this year! Like last year, we’re trying to get as many people running our MapRun courses as possible over the Christmas period, by providing a sweet incentive. Last year 28 people took part, with seven earning chocolate.<\/p>\n
Everyone’s eligible, whether you’re a seasoned MapRunner or new to the game.<\/p>\n
We have Courses<\/a> around Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, with some just across the border into Worcestershire and Wales. (NB: check COVID rules before you travel).<\/strong><\/p>\n Most of our courses have a standard format<\/a>: you have one hour to collect as many points as possible by visiting up to 30 checkpoints.<\/p>\n We have other variants too: from MapRides designed for bikes, to super-short Micro-Orienteering courses (as these are so short, they’re worth half a credit each!)<\/p>\n All courses, regular or variant, towards your total – basically anything within the Gloucestershire and Worcestershire folders. We also have an event on New Year’s Day<\/a> at Rodborough Common, which counts as well.
