Cheltenham North

The course covers most of Pittville, up towards the racecourse in the North, and over to the railway in the West. The area is generally flat. There are some fairly major roads to cross, so take particular care crossing these, and of course be aware of traffic on all of the roads around the area.

Note that the Cheltenham North course was one of earliest courses, and has a different scoring system from most. Checkpoints are numbered from 10 to 39, numbers 10-19 are worth 10 points, 20-29 are worth 20 points, and 30-39 are worth 30 points. The catch is that penalties for late completion are 30 points per minute or part minute!

Parkingis in the small car park off Albemarle gate, GL50 4NG, on the North side of Pittville Park. The car park is free.

The start and finish are on the South East corner of the car park, on your front left as you drive in.
