This course ventures out of town onto the lower slopes of the surrounding hills, for those looking for some hill work, but there is also plenty of scope to collect points around the town.

Parkingis in Sainsbury’s car park, GL11 4BS. It’s best to park well up the main car park, away from the Start/Finish, to avoid inadvertent ‘starts’ before you are ready to go. As it’s the Sainsbury’s customer carpark you should pop in and buy something before or after your run.

The start and finish are at the bottom of the steps on the Northern edge of the car park, where the steps go up to the Knapp, and the playing field. Make sure you run through this point to start your route, and again back through it to stop the clock on your run.
